This post and attachments covering a number of disputes and strikes related in particular to different UK 'Fire and Rehire' struggles beyond the airline industry is worth another mention here:

In addition to the coverage in the above newsletter which includes bus company strikes in Manchester and London there are these 2 short pieces from the ACG here:
https://anarchistcommunism.org/2021/05/05/workplace-notes-14/ (although we still need to see the content of any deal with the Manchester UNITE union bus drivers) and

Without wanting to endorse RS21, I thought this was a good detailed analysis of the Manchester bus dispute: https://www.rs21.org.uk/2021/05/06/manchester-bus-strike-fire-and-rehire/

Reference to the benefits of attending the 'Peoples Assembly' aside this report from the RS21 is good on both the strengths and some significant weaknesses of the strike and the role of the UNITE union with lessons for workers elsewhere whether in a union like UNITE or none. Note especially the reference to concessions made by the union in advance of the strike and the mindset behind this.

also includes short updates on other recent industrial strikes.
