68 French universities on strike

A list of universities on strike and/or occupied against the CPE, and a list of the largest demonstrations and sizes in towns across the country.

The French Students' Union UNEF has issued a list of French universities occupied from the 28th of March. This list includes existing occupations and new ones.

Aix-Marseille 1, Aix-Marseille 2, Aix-Marseille 3, Amiens, Angers Artois, Avignon, Besançon, Bordeaux 1, Bordeaux 2, Bordeaux 3, Bordeaux 4, Brest, Caen, Clermont 2, Chambéry, Corte, Dijon, Grenoble 1, Grenoble 2, Grenoble 3, La Rochelle, Le Havre, Le Mans, Lille 1, Lille 2, Lille 3, Limoges, Lorient, Lyon 2, Metz, Montpellier 1, Montpellier 2, Montpellier 3, Nancy 1, Nancy 2, Nantes, Nice, Orléans, Pau, Perpignan, Poitiers, Rennes 1, Rennes 2, Rouen, Reims, St Etienne, Toulon, Toulouse 1, Toulouse 2, Toulouse 3, Tours, Paris 1, Paris 3, Paris 4, Paris 5, Paris 6, Paris 7, Paris 8, Paris 10, Paris 11, Paris 12, Paris 13, Evry, Marne La Vallée, Versailles St Quentin, IEP Paris, Antilles-Guyanne.

A list of major demonstrations and the numbers present was also published. The largest demonstrations were in Bordeaux, Marseille, Paris and Toulouse, all of which had 100,000 people or more in the streets.
