François Goulard, Minister for Universities, visited the Sorbonne at around 2pm this afternoon with its rector Maurice Quénet.

In the photo above, Goulard stands morosely in front of what is in fact just chalked writing on the wall. In his hands are two books which appear to have been damaged.
In the OSTBLOG, a German journalist who was witnessed this performance appears to suggest that in fact Goulard had brought these books himself. If anyone can translate the German, we would be very grateful.
