It was gonna be naforum but then thought NA is like National Alliance, or National Anarchists, so put NoAm then thought it was good anyway, cos of noam obviously.

If people want it changed to something else we will. (NB the link wasn't working yesterday but now is)

wow this is a very old introduction forum, 2006, with no messages since so is it just to introduce the fact of the NA forum or is it for comrades to introduce themselves like those other introductory forums? If the former apologies for my mistake, if the latter it seems pointless as noone bothers with it.
Anyway I'm originally from Hamilton, Ontario but now I live in Ireland. Glad to see Anarchism alive in kicking in the land of my birth. :rb: :a:

lol, very few Americans on this forum. Anyway, I am from California, near what many call the Bay Area (or, if your a trendy fuck, its called Yay Area) I live in a coastal town that is in the second most Liberal county in the State (just a tad less then SF). We have a big Anarchism following (big for the U.S.) and even have an Anarchist Cafe in the downtown area.

If anyone else from areas around the Bay Area/Santa Cruz have information on future student protests I would love to hear from you to help organize.

it was the former - a post introducing the forum. We have a place for new users to introduce themselves here:
http://libcom.org/forums/introductory/welcome-say-hello-and-introduce-yourself-on-this-thread

We also have tens of thousands of readers a month from the US and Canada, so more than you would know from this thread!

Maybe we'll hook up sometime. Not sure if our politics are the same, but I'll PM you and see if we can arrange something.

Howdy. I'm NGNM85. I'm a Libertarian socialist. I live in Massachusetts. Ideologically, I'm primarily influenced by anarchist thinkers, particularly Emma Goldman, and Noam Chomsky, however I am increasingly interested in libertarian Marxism, particularly the ideas of Karl Marx, Rosa Luxemburg, and Michael Harrington. My primary interests include philosophy, history, politics, and pop culture. Glad to be here.

Fraternal greetings from Corning, NY and the Finger Lakes region. It would be great to meet up with nearby comrades, but I'm not sure there are any. Maybe a leafleting campaign first!

Anyone have some suggestions for the best boards for a n00b like me to dive into?

Would you believe that after 23 years in New York, the closest I've ever been to NYC is Troy? I like the fresh country air, but politically this is Red Meat country, it's kinda scary in the Trump era from a physical safety standpoint, and I've always been jealous of what I imagine is a friendlier cosmopolitan climate downstate.
