Anarchists in Hull or York

There are no anarchist or libertarian communist groups on Humberside at the moment afaik. There is a small group of IWWs in Hull and surrounds.

There is a SolFed group in West Yorks who have contacts in Scarborough

dunno if it's your thing but there's a york Indymedia site at york.indymedia.org.uk which might be of interest. leeds and bradford are both probably a better bet to be honest.

Yeah, good stuff. There used to be a Hull AF local group a while back but it sort of died a death when AnarchoHockeyDude moved away. Would be good to have an active anarcho- group in the West Riding again.

Iam in Tyne & Wear IWW and I beleive that there are IWW members in York and a little further north in Darlington I can find more info.

There's a York IWW branch currently getting off the ground; we have a plan to do a film showing on the evening of 30th November though I'm not sure of the details as yet.

Sadly Solfed's West Yorks local and Hull local are no longer active. The closest Solfed local is probably Calderdale.
