I think independent autonomous trade unions deserve our support.

Teamsters and SEIU are autonomous, independent trade unions?

Yeah, don't really get why this would be posted either. For casual readers think it's worth posting our introduction to our view on the unions here: https://libcom.org/library/unions-introduction

TLDR version: unless their T-shirts are particularly amazing on an aesthetic level (highly doubtful, and in any case if you are an adult you shouldn't be wearing T-shirts): don't buy business union T-shirts

So Steven, are you saying that adults shouldn't wear T-shirts, period, or that they shouldn't wear logo T-shirts? Is this an EU style straight banana directive or an anarchist principle? We can't all go round dressed as a cross between Peter Cushing and Liberace like you admins you know!

Steven is under the mistaken impression that because he looks good in anything that other people can pull off wearing awful clothes so he can afford to dismiss t-shirts as an option (although t-shirts with political message are shit).
He's right about unions though.

It generally took some level of depression for people trying to get economic standing to just sort of give up, and also identify with that which is lower. In that sense you could see there being an aesthetic. You will of course recall Simple Plan's (an apt name), 'We are the ones, the ones forgotten,' or Three Days Grace's unionist anthem, 'We are one.'

That said, as the attitude towards unions here might not have been unambiguously positive, and perhaps contained some nuance, it might be worth specifying the direct relevance of these ones apart from their being unions. Otherwise, it might be a more qualified or watered-down promotion. In general, they might not seem directly relevant to the board, and then that might be worth specifying somewhere.

Now, I'm a man who likes a T-shirt and the "polo" shirts I wear to work aren't much more than T-shirts with three buttons at the collar. But If I'm ever involved in a starting an anarchist organization from the ground up, rule number one will be that anyone coming to a meeting has to be wearing at least a collared shirt. I accept that anarchists acting like normal people is a pipe dream, but we really have to get better at at least looking like normal people.

Anyway, the IBEW logo is pretty cool:

I mean, this is a cool T and if I ever see it at Goodwill, I'm getting it:

Since 'closed shops' are no longer a thing, isn't any organisation of workers better than none?
