Perhaps they're changing the system, or something like that...

On a side note, when I try to search for things on libcom I normally use Google. Just type 'libcom' followed by whatever it is you want to find.

I'm glad radicalgraffiti has asked about the search facility.
I just tried using search to find some texts to point out to wishfulface on their vote for Corbyn thread.

I don't know if this topic's been covered already (I can't see any way to search the forums), but when I'm scrolling through the library, if for example I'm on page 6 and I click on an article, when I'm finished there doesn't seem to be any way to go back to page 6. If I use the back button it takes me back to page 1 and I have to scroll down, click on the next page, scroll down etc until I reach page 6 again. Most sites allow you to select the page to scroll to (ie, last, 1, 2, 3 ... next) so you don't keep having to scroll through the whole lot again. Or am I the only person who gets past page 1?

Hello not sure where to post anything of a technical nature but when I search for terms it is not working. Am I doing something wrong or is there a computer bug in Libcom?

When I typed in Keywords

Karl Marx

I only got the message

Your search yielded no results

Any help please.

Thank you.

We're looking into this, in the meantime just use Google by adding site:libcom.org to your search query.

How many anarchists does it take to break a search engine?

But then the NSA will know.

Would be really helpful if this could be fixed soon so we can reference some links to help the 'one-liner' questions that keep coming up from some posters.

Again.

more like still.

We are currently looking into it

in the meantime we recommend people use Google and add "site: libcom.org" to the search, which will do roughly the same thing

Update: we have taken steps to fix this. It is currently re-indexing our content so hopefully will be working again within a few hours

Many Thanks. Seems to be working just now. Has this exercise got anything to do with very old posts coming up again under the ' All recent posts thread'?

No, that is to do with an editor approving revisions made to old posts which we have had backlogged for ages (thanks very much to Khawaga who has helped with that!)
