Ronnie Alexander, founder member and secretary of the Glasgow Anarchist Federation of the 1960s died on 17th November. He is remembered in Stuart Christie's My Granny Made Me An Anarchist. Stuart Christie tore up his Labour Party membership card in 1963 outside Glasgow’s Mitchell Library following a conversation with Bobby Lynn and Ronnie, who was then a librarian. Ronnie was also a member of the Clutha folk music group.
