New Internationalist Perspective Web Site

Internationalist Perspective is very pleased to announce the launch of our new web site. The new site is located at

In addition to a new layout, the new site features every issue of IP in a PDF format and allows for readers to directly comment on articles. We hope that this will lead to fruitful discussions.

Our old site is still online at

and features material not yet transferred to the new site.

Yes welcome some useful older articles not previously available on the old site. The shift away from RP being the journal of the External Fraction of the ICC around 1994/95 was it seems a move in the right direction even if it still took time to jettison their focus on criticism of that organisation. As a historical record it is important that all the early editions of IP are available even if some of the tone and detail of debates between different Left Communist groups at the time might be difficult to appreciate or understand for anyone new trying to get a grip on it today.

The new site looks better but

The new site looks better but it doesn't seem possible as before to find and link separate articles from each issue which is a pity. I suspect some of the links I have provided on early discussion threads here may now be defunct! (but if you find such on other libcom discussion threads and the issue number is referenced you should still be able to trace it).

My virus check doesn't seem to like this connection at http or https recently - not sure why??

The ssl certificate for the

The ssl certificate for the site has expired. Browsers are configured to check https certificates and only accept ones produced by certain companies. When running a https site you have to update the cert and reconfigure your web server before it expires.

Forgetting to do this is extremely common and happens to big sites as well. There is no virus or otherwise risk but your browser blocks anyway just in case because the *content* of your (potential) posts and the username/password might be intercepted.
