Liverpool's 1st Anarchist Bookfair, 1 April 2017

Ah yes 'The Salvage Project' not to be confused with the Christian group of the same name.
The Bookfair site could do with some links to the groups that are running stalls or meetings to give people and idea what to expect. The 'communism' as in anarchist and libertarian communism seems to be missing so far? Maybe jondwhite could sell a few 'Socialist Standards' outside?

Seems to have grown a bit since the original ad and there is a bit more information available on their website now about the workshops but still no times for the event as a whole or the individual workshops - presumably just an oversight.

Ah yes but then surely ''small is beautiful''! I mean their first go at organising this. Usual cross section of class struggle groups and reformist campaigns we come to expect at open anarchist events. There was a good selection of books if that was what people wanted, though Liverpool having one of the few remaining good radical bookshops still around might make that less of a draw to locals? Attended two quite good if small inter-related meetings by the SolFed and the AWW. The attraction for some of the Liverpool/Everton football derby might have limited attendance by a few - the lunch time pub was full. The kitchen unfortunately couldn't make a decent vegetable curry but it filled a gap.
