Was reading this informatiive article in the Summer 1982 issue of "Cienfuegos Press Anarchist Review" by Octavio Alberta on "The anarchist movement in Mexico" here on libcom. He goes into some very interesting and informative stuff about 1970s Mexican anarchism. Although I mustve read the article when it first was published, I really don't recall being in touch with some of the active participants. We were in touch with some of the older Mexican anarchists and our impressions were often shaped by what little we knew or read in their press.
In this article, there's some fascinating info in this article about the FAM's work with garment workers in Irapuato, industrial workers in Queretaro, the Peasants Union in Queretaro state and other interesting stuff
If anyone has any additional information on 1960s and 1970s Mexican anarchism, please share links or PM with info.
