Martial Arts Lessons in London

Can you give suggestions of the good martial arts school in the UK? I want to learn martial arts because exercising every day made me bored somehow. I want to try something new. Plus, I keep seeing that martial arts can give you also a fit body. Also, I want to learn self-defence for protection these days.

I'd check out Solstar Sports Association: https://www.facebook.com/solstarsports/. They organise women led classes in boxing, kickboxing and (I think?) self defence in Tottenham. I've never been, not living in London, but I've sparred and trained with their fighters and they really know what they're doing. There's an email address on their page if you don't have Facebook.
