Gaza Protests

Have we grown weary and blase about the Palestinian struggle especially in Gaza that it no longer merits a mention?

SPGB blog comment to kick of the discussion

I was thinking the same thing.

I watched a film yesterday Leila Khaled: Hijacker (2006) essentially someone quizzing the former Palestinian hijacker about her role, past, current thoughts and feelings. You get a good insight to be fair and I would say worth watching. Someone linked to http://mondoweiss.net/ website in the youtube comments. It's good for news about Palestine.

ajj, do you blame the Palestinians who get injured, shot or killed? That's what your article and comment linked to sort of implies?

Of course not and i am not sure if the original article does although the firt comment may be seen doing this.

Obviously, the SPGB does not recommend Palestinian nationalism or the creation of two-state or one-state as a permanent solution to the conflict and that has to be always said. We would do people no favours fostering illusions and delusions

If anything i personally will sympathise with the now defunct Bundist position
