Kropotkin's Modern Science and Anarchy book launch (Nottingham, 17/11/2018)

As part of the Second Nottingham Radical Bookfair, Iain McKay will be marking the publication by AK Press of the last book Peter Kropotkin published in his lifetime, Modern Science and Anarchy (1913):

As well as the full translation of the 1913 French edition, the 2018 translation includes related material in the form of letters, articles and the pamphlet Anarchy: Its Philosophy, Its Ideal, along with an introduction and notes by Iain McKay (author of An Anarchist FAQ). The talk went well -- packed room, they had to bring in more chairs. And it was well received -- and all the jokes worked (not in the write-up, sorry to say, as all pretty much spontaneous and slide-specific).

Yes, I counted 45 people there. Great talk backed up by very good powerpoint. A couple of daft Corbynite questions like "What would Kropotkin think of Corbyn" which Iain handled well. Does this mean there's a growing interest in anarchism? We shall see.
