Given the interest in current turn of events in South America more particularly Brazil and Venezuela this piece of historical catch-up from the recently released CIA archives illustrates the extent of Uk and European collusion with (and interest in learning from) regimes in that period by the relevant 'Intelligence services'. Yeah, I've been seeing bits and pieces of the new releases, its pretty grim. I'm working through a collection of documentaries about this period that were made when most of the Junta's were still in power and its honestly depressing how many of their crimes were exposed and yet aid kept flowing.
