The Manchester and Salford Anarchist Book Fair returns to the Peoples History Museum this year on Saturday the 7th of December from 10am to 4pm. No more details as yet but will probably include the usual selection of publishers, distributors and political and campaign groups.

It's a welcome return to the Peoples History Museum Venue but it seems the organisers didn't have the funds to book meeting rooms as well as the main bookfair hall in advance so they are encouraging groups to book and pay for rooms during the bookfair directly with the Museum admin, (https://phm.org.uk/hire/)

Not the most currently relevant or interesting of subjects here but this event (if more narrowly anarchist than some others) still presents opportunities to meet up with some genuine class struggle and libertarian communist activists amongst the bookstall organisers with enough social meeting space in this venue to pursue some rare face to face discussions.

I suppose it's a bit of a depressing sign of the times that I've not really heard anyone talking about the bookfair since it happened, and that seems like one of the most positive possible outcomes, because if there was a ten-page thread on it now I doubt it'd be for a good reason. :/ On the bright side though, was reminded of this post recently, so it's very gratifying that Isaacson was completely and utterly wrong in her prediction.
