Partido Obrero de Unificación Marxista (POUM)

The Workers' Party of Marxist Unification (Partido Obrero de Unificación Marxista, POUM) was a Spanish communist party, independent from Moscow, which, although numerically small, played an important role in the Spanish civil war and revolution of 1936-9. It is often incorrectly described as Trotskyist.
