Black Flag 237 (2015)
The last of the titles from the 2007-15 Black Flag collective looked at a brief wave of squatting in the capital and took an in-depth look at the then-somnolent Parliamentary scene before the rise of Corbynism. A direct action bent saw it pick over the rise and fall of the animal rights movement, and consider how the Trade Union Bill could potentially be resisted.

Interesting article from 1907 by Chinese anarchist Liu Shipei, arguing for human equality and spelling out some basic principles for a functioning, although largely agrarian, gender-equal anarchist society in the country. With an introduction by Robert Graham.
Black Flag 236 (2014)
This issue of Black Flag, which came out after a hiatus in 2013 in which no magazine was produced at all, began a period of annual publishing. Among the key articles was a cover story reflecting on the sometimes difficult organising of that year's AFem 2014 conference, a prescient analysis of Osborne's failed austerity programme, and a still-relevant analysis of the ways in which protest policing have dovetailed with the slow course of justice to both deny campaigners their rights and leave people in legal limbo for years at a time.
