Death notice for a revolutionary hero.
It is with heartfelt sadness that the Aotearoa Workers Solidarity Movement (AWSM) notes the death of Mr. Phil Windsor, 99, late of various addresses.
Phil was a well-known anti-racist, a strong advocate of women’s rights, and a peace campaigner. He gave away all his well-earned income to the poor, travelled around the world for decades talking to people at his own expense, and performed a highly useful and accountable role in society.
As with other great heroes, he will be sadly missed.
