Forgotten Faces is an early amateur film made by the director Peter Watkins recreating the Hungarian Revolution from the point of view of a small group of revolutionaries.
Famous for his work on the film Battle of Culloden, War Games a what if? about the dangerous and brutalities of nuclear war, and La Commune and multi hour examination of the Paris Commune, in 1961 Watkins attempted to explain and recreate the events and implications of the Hungarian revolution by dramatization,
