This article is presented as two imposed PDFs intended to be printed on A4 paper, resulting in an A5 saddle-stitched pamphlet. The first PDF is a single-sided cover intended to be printed in colour, the second double-sided inside pages intended to be printed in black and white.
From AI to polluted beaches, things are increasingly shit. But as new shitscapes manifest, we should not be fooled into thinking this is brand new shit. This shit has been around for a long time and people have devised ways of resisting it. We are in danger of forgetting our anti-shit history leaving us at the mercy of both the insanely wealthy shit merchants who want to keep us isolated, unhappy and ignorant, and by the moderately prosperous who undermine any real challenge to the shitus quo, offering us a few wet wipes while building their own private sewer systems... Basically, this is an essay from Aotearoa/New Zealand on enshittification and what to do about it.
