CGT - “withdrawl of CPE non-negotiable”

Bernard Thibault, general secretary of the CGT union - the biggest in France - has said that the withdrawl of the CPE is not negiotiable.

This could lead to an all out fight.
"Il n'y a pas de négociation possible autour du maintien du CPE, le retrait du CPE n'est pas négociable."

Meanwhile, Villepin said "I would have wished to have reopened negotiations with our social partners in the Trade Union movement and all of the students."
