A short message that Ferguson rebel Josh Williams asked supporters to share with the outside world. Josh is serving an eight-year sentence for lighting a fire during the December 2014 protests that followed the police killing of Antonio Martin.
OK here it go: on Sunday, June 30,2019 we was lock down most of the day because 3 inmate overdose on drugs guys I want to say this when my feet first touchdown in the streets of Ferguson I felt connected suddenly because I felt the pain of people out there I felt what going on with them n I did not want to leave even if I did want to leave I couldn't my body wouldn't let me not only my body but my mind I was then rooted in Ferguson in the movement at that moment let me tell you it was so powerful that if you didn't feel nothing it was something wrong with you so after three days of bein out there I got connected with a group called the lost voices it they became my family before I went to Ferguson I was still trying to find my calling n trying to find myself but after a year of bein exposed to what the cops was doing to my young people n not only my young people,people period I found myself and I found my calling and that is to be a help to people n to stand with my people in their time of need when the cops are tearing them down I will be there to build them up again when the cops kill my people I will be there to get justice its not try to get justice no more it we will get justice n not a cop in the world will stop us its time that we stand our ground it time we defend our people against this bitch ass system they call a fair system because all they doing is trying to get money on they police car it say protect and serve well that is a dam lie what that mean is the law protect them and the court house serve them with a free walk from murder so to the cops of st.Louis n around the world I tell you to cut the bullshit because we on to your game I say you will not kill anybody else or you will see my face on the front line every time if that make you want to kill me then do it we all got to die one day for the co's of these prisons who are treating my inmates poorly I see you it will stop you will no longer treat us any fucking way you want to for the warden I say to you get off your fucking ass n get your fucking staff together and your fucking prison together you got co's running around like fucking animals train your pets because how they treat us is unacceptable to me n I won't allow this type of childish behavior to go on any longer they are not my parent so they will respect me or they have no respect coming from me at all for my people out there I say keep fighting the good fight as I fight from the inside love you guys PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH PEOPLE...........
