Call Israeli authorities to demand release of Akram Rikhawi and Mahmoud Sarsak!
Currently Palestinian national football team member Mahmoud Sarsak is on day 89 of his hunger strike against his detention making him by far the longest hunger striker in history. Another Palestinian prisoner, Akram Rikhawi, is now on day 64 of his hunger strike which for any normal human being is extremely dangerous.
The Israeli authorities continue to refuse to admit Sarsak and Rikhawi to a civilian hospital, forcing them to remain at clinics within Israeli prisons.
Previously, international solidarity has helped lead to the release of Palestinian hunger strikers Khader Adnan and Hana Shalabi. That is why Students for Justice in Palestine is requesting that people call the following members of the Israeli government and demand that Sarsak and Rikhawi be released immediately and sent to a civilian hospital for treatment.
