Striking firefighter hospitalised by station manager

One firefighter has been airlifted to hospital and three others injured after a station manager drove his car through a picket line.

Tam Ozdemir of Red Watch, Croydon was rushed to hospital with suspected neck and pelvic injuries.

According to the London firefighters Facebook support group, Station Manager Chris Young has been arrested by Police Officers. Witnesses report SM panicked and drove straight at the picket line. He was in his car and following an Assetco manned appliance.
