On the subject of plagiarising names, I can remember a rather amusing story of when someone published a fake Hakim Bey book in Italy, which received glowing reviews in leftist papers and magazines.

yeah, that was the article in Days. In my first draft of my CrimethInc. critique I mentioned that it was decidedly dodgy to have a paedophile involved in a group which had significant numbers of children in it. They responded by saying he wasn't associated with the group, they just put his name on something.
