Some points of interest;

Antonio Jimenez Cubillo was a participant at the conference that founded the Anarcho-Syndicalist Federation in January 1986 at Jura Books then located at 417 King St., Newtown. He remained a member of ASF Sydney until his death in 1990. When agreement was finally reached between the Rebel Worker Group of Sydney and the remaining members of the Melbourne Anarcho-Syndicalist Group on 27th January, Antonio Jimenez Cubillo declared "I wait twenty-five years for this day!".

Mariano Sussiac was also member of ASF Melbourne.

The CNT-in-exile was not the first IWA exile group in Australia, The CNT Bulgaria exile group was established in Sydney in 1956. They went under the name 'Sydney Anarchist Group' and established the infamous Anarchist Cellar in the basement of a tailor's shop at the corner Glenmore Rd. and Darlinghurst Rd., Paddington in the 60s.

Alex Boneff and George Christoff of the SAG were also participants at the conference that founded the Anarcho-Syndicalist Federation in January 1986.

Greg Macainsh, bass player with Skyhooks, was also involved with the Collingwood Free Store.
