12 universities remain disturbed this afternoon (Friday), of which one is blocked (Toulouse II) and one is closed by the university on grounds of safety (Rennes II).
At the height of the anti-CPE rebellion, over 60 of France's 84 universities were occupied, on strike, or severely disrupted.

You’re certainly gonna need to expand this struggle on May Day — and beyond — because de Villepin is still PM (and the Sarkopath is still at large and dangerous); so this is not really a knockout blow against this government, is it? Which means that they will continue to try to implement their neoliberal project by other means. By stealth. By subterfuge. By misdirection. By fraud. By divide & conquer.
Let the students go back now… but everyone should then understand that they’ll only have to come back out more seriously than this the next time even. With a wider agenda and more sectors involved.
Let’s hope that a lot of solidarity work will be done in the meantime, and not leave things up to chance or casual individualism. The workers must be one with the students. All for one and one for all!
